you and Jumpy spray them back, but they keep closing in. before their rotting skin can touch you, someone starts sweeping their legs, cackling goofily as they do.

you all run away as Jumpy thanks Goof for the help. you bob and weave past the cadavers to your destination and try to ignore the newbie's bragging.

between tired pants, Goof asks where you're leading them. the trap door's ahead, so you just point at it.

the three of you stop and notice there's a lock.
you ask if any of them have a key or something to break it open. Goof has nothing, while Jumpy only has their water gun.

piss zombies begin closing in again, so you all try breaking the door with your hands and feet.

the stench and groans grow louder, so your allies give up and run, yelling for you to do the same.

but you're too late.

on the way, a zombie manages to scratch your arm.
you kick it and lunge inside.

inside is a living room and a survivor with bandages over their eyes.
noticing your breathing, they ask if you're okay. you say you're fine and ask if they know someone named Fergie, which they decline.
mind as well start lookin' around.

on the table is a very crusty remote. that's disgusting.

surprisingly, the couch seems clean enough to dig through. you root around and touch something cold and hard.

it's a key. nice! that might be useful!

as you head for the door, the stranger offers company in finding who you're looking for.
you doubt they'd be of service with their eyes bound, and they claim their other heightened senses make up for it.

after a moment of hesitancy, you agree and exit together.
now... which way do you wanna go?

while walking, your companion bumps into your bleeding arm, making you wince.

they comment that you're hurt, but you deny it. insisting your wound be covered, they remove their bandages and begin wrapping you.their lack of eyes causes them to work slowly. feeling vulnerable out in the open, you look around frantically.
luckily, the trek resumes without incident.

you pass various decayed and torn corpses that have long out-"lived" their usefulness. one jumps from the ground at No-Eyes, who chops them in half.

unfortunately, liquid got in their sockets. they hand you their axe and tell you to dismember them so they can't attack.
